Episode 27: measuring up

(93 downloads)

Download this episode (58 min)
The housemates are joined by Doctor Martin Ennis, fellow of music, fish expert and world famous continuo player, and madness ensues on a scale hitherto unseen on the podcast.

The more coherent moments include a game of rhythm and wiles called "Measure Up!", an argument about whether NICE are actually a bit naughty and whether free votes are undemocratic, a debate on the House theme music and a thought from the day from Paul Kiang, who reluctantly but candidly talks of his experiences of being targeted by the Metropolitan police for terrorist acts.

The rest frankly defies description.

Cheered by their burgeoning international audience, the housemates celebrate Easter with a selection of fine desert wines and their now traditional (and quaint) Easter egg hunt, whilst launching a campaign to bring the Onde Martinoz back into regular use. Also includes a phone call to the President of the USA and a thought for the day from the closest living equivalent to Jesus Christ.

Episode 25: clitorary endeavours

(58 downloads)

Download this episode (78 min)
In the middle of a sombre Lenten period, Alastair, Emily and James anticipate the relief of clitoris sunday with a stimulating game of upwords, whilst discussing the progress of their Lenten meditations and hotly debating the merits of being a postgraduate or otherwise. And they talk a lot about clitorises, not with any real medical or philosophical insight but just for the sake of puerile banter.

Warning: this episode really does get quite explicit. If you are liable to be offended by discussion of the female "part", you are advised to give this one a miss.
